Childcare Connections is a not-for-profit charitable organisation and is the leading out of school childcare provider in the South Edinburgh areas of Gilmerton, Gracemount, The Inch and Moredun. The organisation was set up in April 2000 to address the shortage of quality after-school clubs in these areas.
Over the years we have built up a first class reputation in providing flexible, quality, affordable out of school clubs that run during the term time from Craigour Park Primary, Gracemount Primary, St John Vianney Primary & Gilmerton Primary schools and holiday clubs providing inclusive childcare for local parents and carers, enabling them to take up or remain in employment, education and training.
We operate a child-centred service where every child in our care, has the opportunity to enjoy a safe, caring, healthy and stimulating play environment.
All of our after-school clubs are registered with the Care Inspectorate. All staff are SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) registered.

We have a wide variety of resources that the children can use for free play both inside and outside and planned activities that the children can participate in such as games, sports, baking and arts and crafts and on occasion we hire in facilitators to carry out drama and dancing workshops etc with the children to ensure a varied programme.
All children are observed to ensure they are happy, making friends and engaging with the activities.
