Our After School Clubs are well-equipped with a great variety of resources for children from P1 to S2.
The out of school clubs run straight after each school day, parents can pick up at any time up until 5.45pm. All children must be signed out by an adult over 16 who is named on that child’s registration form.
Children in Primary 1 and Primary 2 are picked up at their class.
Children in Primary 3 to 7 will either make their own way from the classroom to the after school club or staff will meet them at a designated meeting point. The Play Leader will confirm the arrangements for P3-7’s for the school your child is attending.
Childcare Connections offer a good balance of indoor and outdoor activities including arts & crafts, baking, sports etc as well as trips to places of interest. Staff ensure the views and ideas of all the children and young people are incorporated into the activity programme.
Monday to Thursday the children have a snack when they arrive in the playroom such as sandwiches, soup, crackers, pasta and fruit. Water is available for children to drink throughout the afternoon.
On a Friday afternoon, we ask that children bring a packed lunch to the club. However, we will still provide an afternoon snack at around 3 pm.
